Safeguarding

The safety and wellbeing of pupils is a priority at AMO Learning Academy.

Online lessons

All AMO Learning Academy lessons are delivered online using Microsoft Teams. Pupils should have access to a suitable device, a reliable internet connection, and the materials needed for the lesson.

Cameras

Pupils may be asked to turn their camera on during lessons, particularly when interacting with the tutor, answering questions, or showing their working. Cameras do not need to remain on continuously unless this is specifically required.

Parents of younger pupils

For younger pupils, we ask that a parent or responsible adult is at home and available during the lesson. They do not need to sit with the child throughout the session, but should be available if support is needed.

Our lead teacher

Mrs Mohammed, our founder and lead teacher, holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a current DBS certificate.

Raising a concern

Any safeguarding or child-welfare concerns relating to tuition should be reported directly to Mrs Mohammed at AMO Learning Academy. amolearningacademy@gmail.com

Where there is an immediate risk of harm or an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency or statutory services directly. In an emergency, call 999.
